A Refined and Returned Prequel

After a fortnight, I finally feel motivated to work on this series again.

Well, technically, I’ve been working on it off and on for the past two weeks—outlining Volume Two, making corrections, and adding new ideas to strengthen the story. I’ve also been doing the same for Volume Three.

Originally, I planned for the series to have just three volumes. However, while working on the prologue and exploring the family’s backstory, I realized I wanted to incorporate more of it into the series. At first, I thought I would write a prequel after finishing the main story, but I’ve decided to start working on it now. Since it will be shorter than Volume Two and structured as a series of smaller segments spanning 30 years, I can focus on one section at a time without it overwhelming me alongside my full-time work.

With that in mind, I will begin posting updates for The Watsons: Beginnings. I hope you enjoy learning more about the Watson family’s history while waiting for Volume Two and the continuation of Emma Watson’s journey.
