Hello, world!

I just realized I never made an achievement post for Act 2, which ended with Chapter 18—so here it is, better late than never!

Despite a close call, I managed to post Chapter 20 today, which, together with the prologue, brings me to 21 chapters in 21 days! As of now, I estimate that I have about five chapters left until the end of Volume One. Each volume is shaping up to be longer than Jane Austen’s shortest novel, but that’s exactly why I split the story into three volumes.

Rather than focusing solely on one character’s perspective, I’m diving deep into multiple characters, exploring their backgrounds, motivations, and personalities. I love stories that build a rich world through multiple viewpoints, and I hope readers will enjoy this approach as I complete The Watsons (or at least my version).

Meanwhile, it’s now February 25th… My original goal was to finish by the 28th, but I’m still clinging to my slightly ambitious plan of wrapping up before classes start next week. If I fall short or miss a day, it’ll be because I actually need to prep for my classes (unfortunately, responsibilities exist).

Wish me luck!

Note: Mr. and Mrs. Tomlinson's eldest daughter and her husband were previously said to be "Mr. and Mrs. King", but this has been changed to "Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fuller". Sorry for any confusion. Note 2: I have gone back and made some changes to my file which aren't showing here because I have no time to make the adjustments to the posts. However, one thing is that I've added an extra (a 5th) set to the first assembly to make it match future assemblies I've written.
