Volume I Finished and a New School Year

Hey everyone~
Alright, I’ve officially finished Volume One! Now, I’m in that stage of procrastination before editing. I’m actually considering jumping into Volume Two while everything is still fresh in my mind, but I can’t send Volume One to an editor until I’ve made all the necessary revisions.
I’ve also decided I want to make more changes to the first seven chapters, which are still mostly in manuscript form. However, I haven’t fully figured out what those additions should be. Once I do, I’ll make the changes and then move on to properly editing the book so it’s ready for my editor—hopefully for the final round of edits.
In the meantime, the new school year started in South Korea last Tuesday, so I’ve been quite busy. I wanted to finish revising Volume One before my schedule got more hectic, so if you noticed that some parts weren’t as polished or well-thought-out as they should be, please let me know! I’d love to make improvements where needed. While I won’t have as much time now, I’ll still have some time during the week and weekends to keep working on it.
For now, though, I’m going to take a short break from edits and start outlining Volume Two, just so I stay productive. My goal is to have Volume One published before June, since that’s when work gets even busier with testing and grading.
At this moment, I don’t plan to post the contents of Volumes Two and Three on this blog, but that could always change depending on how things go.
I hope you’ve enjoyed Volume One! If you have any suggestions, comments, or want to discuss The Watsons or any other research ideas about Jane Austen’s work, feel free to reach out. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Take Care for now~
